First Bank recently appointed Kristy Garner to branch manager at the bank's Seagrove office.

Garner previously served as branch manager at First Bank's Candor location and has worked for the bank for more than eight years, according to a news release from First Bank.

"Kristy has proven herself to be a dedicated branch manager during her time at First Bank's Candor branch," said Roger Gentry, senior vice president and regional executive of First Bank. "We look forward to her continued success and leadership in serving the Seagrove community."

A lifelong resident of Moore County, Garner graduated from North Moore High School and received a degree in network administration and computer science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

She has worked in loan operations and customer service and has five years of experience in branch management.

She has also served on First Bank's Candor/Biscoe Local Advisory Board for five years.

Garner currently resides in West End with her children, Mason and Chloe. The Garner family attends First Baptist Church in Robbins.
