We will all be at the polls on May 4, or so I hope. To give some insight, the judicial candidates running for election are listed on the ballot as “nonpartisan.” Those of us within our political parties are privy to the knowledge as to which candidates are Republicans, Democrats and Unaffiliated.

As a result, I offer the name of a highly creditable candidate running for re-election to the Court of Appeals, and that is Judge Ann Marie Calabria. She has served us well for eight years, honoring that office by upholding our U.S. Constitution, our N.C. Constitution and all laws pertaining to North Carolina.

She certainly deserves to be re-elected to that office by conscientious voters, and I urge you all to do so.
