Tickets to Vince Gill's Memorial Day Weekend concert at the Pinehurst Village Arboretum are now available through Ticketmaster, according to the event's organizers.

Dick Pitassy, of Sandhills Entertainment Group, told The Pilot via e-mail Monday that those interested in purchasing tickets can do so by visiting Ticketmaster's Web site, or by calling 800-745-3000. General admission tickets are available for $22.50 and VIP tickets are available for $75. Children 12 and under are half-price.

Sponsorships are available through Pitassy's office, 910-944-3870, and details can be found at the concert's Web site.

The organizers are seeking about 100 volunteers to assist with the event. Right now, they have about 30. Volunteers will receive credentials for the event, a free t-shirt and one extra free general admission ticket. More details can be found by visiting the concert's Web site. Gill, a country music hall of famer, will perform on May 29 to benefit First Tee Sandhills. He is an avid golfer and a supporter of the First Tee's efforts.
