Three Arrested in Theft of Firearm

Three people have been charged in connection with a gun stolen from a High Falls residence.

Rhodney Vinson Davis, 27, of River Road, Robbins, was arrested by Moore County Sheriff’s Office investigators Tuesday and charged with a felony county of possession of a stolen firearm, according to a press release. The firearm was allegely stolen from a High Falls residence on March 24.

According to the release, two other suspects were arrested on March 25 in connection with the theft. Scotty Lee Hall, 30, of Hall Lane in Bennett, was charged with one count of felony larceny of a firearm and one count of felony possession of a stolen firearm. Melissa Ann Nelson, 30, also of Hall Lane in Bennett, was charged with one count of felony larceny of a firearm and one count of felony possession of a stolen firearm.

Both Hall and Nelson were jailed, with bail set at $10,000. Davis was released on a written promise to appear in court.
