Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 6, and continuing through Oct. 29, a class teaching Apple's amazing productivity suite, iWork '09, will be held at Sandhills Community College. This word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. The prerequisite for this class is the Macintosh class.

A class teaching Google and the various features of Google will begin Thursday, Oct. 8, and be held Tuesdays and Thursdays through Oct. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. The prerequisite for this class is Internet Basics.

Both computer classes cost $65 plus a technology fee of $5. The registration fee is waived for individuals 65 or older but the technology fee is required.
