The Moore County Historical Association is sponsoring the Shaw House Fair of vintage collectibles and antiques, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10.

The fair will be on the grounds of the historic Shaw House at Morganton Road and Broad Street in Southern Pines, that the MCHA owns and operates as a nonprofit among five house museums in Moore County.

"There will be a raffle and silent auction, also food, refreshments and facilities so there is no reason to leave for lunch," says a spokesman.

Admission is free and the fair will go on, rain or shine.
