The Junior League of Moore County will host its sixth annual wine-tasting fundraiser at Elliott's on Linden from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5.

Over 40 wines will be available ranging in price from $10 to $90 a bottle.

"Sample the old favorites as well as several new varietals that have become increasingly popular in the past few years," says a spokesman.

There will also be a silent auction, cooking demonstrations, hors d'oeuvres, cork guess raffle, live music and significant case discounts.

"Space is limited, so get your tickets early for this fantastic event," says the spokesman.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door and are available at Elliott's (905 Linden Road, Pinehurst) and Weichert Realtors (105 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Southern Pines). All proceeds benefit the community programs of the Junior League of Moore County, a 501(c)(3) organization.
