Arnall "Dale" Kimbrell, 77, of Aberdeen, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 16, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Manly Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery in Aberdeen.

Mr. Kimbrell was born July 7, 1932, in Millen, Ga., to the late G. B. and Virginia Burke Kimbrell. He was a member of Manly Presbyterian Church as well as a dedicated member of the Masonic Fraternity, Roman Eagle Lodge No. 550 for over 50 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by one son, Michael D. Kimbrell and wife, Beckie, of Carthage; one daughter, Virginia Kimbrell Stokes and husband, Gregg, of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
