Cameron Woman Faces Felony Charges

A Cameron woman faces felony charges after being arrested Monday for allegedly obtaining controlled prescription pills by fraud.

Officers from the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit arrested Wanda Cheatham Feldt after investigating a report of a person obtaining hydrocodone, a Schedule III controlled substance, by misrepresentation to a healthcare provider, according to a press release.

Feldt, 58, of 3395 N.C. 24-27, Cameron, was charged with three counts of felony obtaining controlled substance by misrepresentation to a healthcare provider. She was released on a $10,000 unsecured bond.
