Linda Hoover will present a Sport Horse Versatility Demonstration Sunday, Oct. 18 at Loch Hurst Farm on 2560 Lakebay Rd. in Vass as part of the 2009 Horse Farm Tour to benefit Prancing Horse Therapeutic Riding Center.

A Sport Horse Versatility Clinic and Dressage/SHV Show to benefit the Companion Animal Clinic will be held Oct. 24-25 at Loch Hurst Farm. The Companion Animal Clinic supports the Spay Neuter Clinic of the Sandhills in Vass, which offers a low cost spay/neuter service as a way to reduce small animal overpopulation in Central North Carolina.

The Saturday clinic is open to dressage, hunters, western and soft-gaited horses. The SHV clinic will offer Obstacle I and II. Clinic participation is $90 per horse for a two-hour small group session. The auditing fee is $15 per person. Pre-registration is required for riders and requested for auditors. The Companion Animal Clinic will provide lunch.

Sunday there will be a Dressage and Sport Horse Versatility show. Riders are welcome to ride dressage tests and/or in the SHV portion which includes In-Hand, Under Saddle and Obstacle classes.
