Several local bands will take the stage for the first-ever Arboretum Concert Series Saturday, Oct. 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Originally scheduled to take place in the Arboretum Meadow in Rassie Wicker Park beside the Village Hall (395 Magnolia Road, Pinehurst), the venue has been shifted to the Fair Barn in Pinehurst because of the threat of rain.

Admission is free; however, attendees are asked to bring a canned food item to donate to the local food bank.

Performers include Sweet T (11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.), The Cowboy Band (12:45 to 2 p.m.), Joyner, Young and Marie (2:15 to 3:30 p.m.), and The Sand Band (3:45 to 5 p.m.).

White Rabbit Catering will have food and drinks available for purchase, and personal coolers are allowed. Attendees are advised to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
