An added touch for the Christmas tour at Weymouth this year will be a Christmas sale shop featuring pre-Christmas special prices on various items that would be suitable for Christmas gifts.

The tour will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, through Saturday, Dec. 5, at Weymouth Center, located on Connecticut Avenue in Southern Pines.

Some of the items that will be available for sale are large and smaller size prints of Weymouth house by Jeanette Sheehan, Weymouth house scene note cards, Weymouth DVDs and the "American Holiday Cookbook," by Polly Kelly.

Kelly donated and sold 40 of her books when she presented the program for the Women of Weymouth in October.

All the proceeds went directly to the Women of Weymouth fundraising campaign to help maintain the Boyd House.

Kelly has offered additional copies of her book for this special sale.

"The Christmas tour is WOW's biggest fundraising event," says Chairman Carol Van Zanten. "It is a popular festive time, and every year brings rave reviews."
