The village of Pinehurst will temporarily close a segment of Juniper Creek Boulevard between St. Georges Drive and Hampshire Lane beginning at 9 a.m. Monday

This area will remain closed to through traffic until 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13.

The closure is necessitated by the failure of a stormwater culvert under Juniper Creek Boulevard and associated curb inlets, all of which will be replaced during this time, a news release said.

Access for residents will be maintained to all homes during this time. However, residents may need to alter their normal travel patterns within the Pinehurst No. 6 neighborhood to reach their homes.

Motorists in this area are asked to observe all work zone signage and normal traffic laws during this time to ensure the safety of themselves and contractors' personnel during these repairs.

They should also allow extra travel time for appointments and other travel in the area that may be required due to the alternate routing required by the roadway closure.
