Jim Dodson, thank you very much for the wonderful March 8 essay about your visit to the Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina, Inc.

Many people who have been there have told me this week how much they liked the story of your visit.

I do believe we will have more people involved because of your ability to write and to care.

I am so pleased that Brenda Hiscott, our tournament publicity chairman, had the nerve to ask you to go to Waccamaw for a day -- and to insist that you write about it.
