Two Jail Inmates Face More Drug Charges

Moore County sheriff's deputies didn't have to go far Tuesday to arrest two individuals on drug charges.
Both Romaro Dashon Kennedy and Beverly Denise Spencer were already in the Moore County Detention Center when they were charged with crimes related to an three-month undercover drug investigation by the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit.
Both had been placed in the detention center Feb. 19 after being arrested on multiple drug charges.
Kennedy, 32, of 9944 N.C. 705, Eagle Springs, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, one count of felony sell cocaine and one count of felony deliver cocaine. A $5,000 bail was added to the $145,000 bail he was under on account of the other charges.
Spencer, 46, of the same address as Kennedy, was charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, two counts of felony sell cocaine, two counts of deliver cocaine and two counts of felony maintaining a dwelling to keep or sell controlled substance. A $5,000 bail was added to the $105,000 bail she was under on account of the previous drug charges.
