Four Face Charges in Assaulting, Robbing Man

An assault of a handicapped Cameron man, and the theft of two rifles and cash, resulted in the arrest of four individuals by Moore County Sheriff's Office investigators.
Antwan Mattes Williams, 21, of 325 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Southern Pines, was arrested June 14; Martaveous Donta Kelly, 22, of 1657 W. New York Avenue, Southern Pines, was arrested June 19; James Junior Jones, 21, of 810 Harris Street, Aberdeen, was arrested last Monday; and Alfraeto Delionel Bass, 27, of 330 S. Stephens Street, Southern Pines, was arrested on Tuesday, according to a press release.
The assault and robbery were reported to the sheriff's department on June 11.
All four men were charged with first degree burglary, common law robbery, assault on a handicapped person, larceny of a firearm, felony larceny and possession of stolen goods.
Williams' bail was set at $45,000; Kelly's bail was set at $110,000; Jones' bail was set at $60,000; and Bass' bail was set at $60,000.
