The Sandhills Sandsharks posted an impressive team win in the backstroke/breaststroke Moore County Swim League dual meet held Tuesday at The O'Neal School pool.

The Sandsharks amassed 1,160 combined points. There was a close battle for second place with the Seven Lakes Stingrays edging The Elks Club, 367.5 to 364. The Country Club of North Carolina team was fourth with 307.5 points, followed by the Pinehurst Parks and Rec team with 254.

In the girls' competition the Sandsharks topped The Elks Club team, 704-217. In the boys' meet the Sandsharks bested CCNC, 456-228.5

Individual winners include: 6 and Under 25 yard Breaststroke: Jessica Coxe (Pinehurst) 32.34 and Jackson Bode (CCNC) 33.72; 7-8 25 Yard breaststroke: Hannah E. Burns (Sandsharks) 25.03 and Ryan Seaquist (Pinehurst) 25.07; 9-10 25 Yard Breaststroke: Karyln Ferguson (Sandsharks) 19.50 and Hans Johnson (CCNC) 23.00; 11-12 50 Yard Breaststroke: Hunter R. Mills (Sandsharks) 44.03 and Eugene Zhang (Sandsharks) 35.25; 13-14 50 Yard breaststroke: Julia Lattarulo (Elks) 41.43 and Kevin Duffy (Sandsharks) 38.15; 6 and Under 25 Yard Butterfly: Precious Gullen (Sandsharks) 34.94 and Matthew Butler (Sandsharks) 16.38; 7-8 25 Butterfly: Hannah Burns (Sandsharks) 21.97 and Will R. Cooper (Elks) 26.31; 9-10 25 Yard Butterfly: Brooke Sayers (Sandsharks) 17.00 and Hans Johnson (CCNC) 18.59; 11-12 50 Yard Butterfly: Amanda Lattarulo (Elks) 47.10 and Landon Teschendorf (Sandsharks) 37.78.
