June is "Adopt a Shelter Cat Month."
The Animal Center of Moore County is brimming with kittens and adult cats that are waiting for new homes. Adopting from the Animal Center saves a life while enriching your own life with a four-legged friend that thinks you are the "cat's meow"!
We are very grateful to all the people who came out to the center and adopted kittens and cats from us two weeks ago when we were full to capacity. We are still receiving more cats, kittens, litters of puppies and dogs every day.
Please make adoption your first option when thinking about adding to your animal family. With economic times the way they are, we have some wonderful animals brought to us because their original families no longer have the means to care for them.
Our fee of $65 includes all their first shots, heartworm test, fe-leuk test, de-worming, rabies shot, spay or neuter and microchip. If you have room in your heart and home, come by and visit us at 5235 U.S. 15-501 (look for our new sign), or call us at 947-2858.
