Expansion of the North Moore High School campus is on the agenda for the Thursday night meeting of the Moore County Planning Board.
The Board of Education has asked for a conditional-use permit (CUP) to enlarge the school at its 44.6-acre campus at 1504 North Moore Road near Robbins.
The Planning Board will conduct a quasi-judicial hearing on the request during its 6 p.m. meeting Thursday in the historic courthouse in downtown Carth-age.
Another CUP request on the agenda is that of Vaughn Rouse, who wants to operate an alcoholic beverage drive-in package store on 2.62 acres on N.C. 705 at Eagle Springs. This will also require a quasi-judicial hearing.
The Planning Board will also be asked to consider proposed text amendments to the zoning ordinance for a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners.
