Carbon-caused global warming is nothing more than a top-down driven power grab to impose more control on our lives through energy. What better proof do we need than three recent revelations in the news?

Dr. Mitchell Taylor, a recognized expert on the status and management of polar bears in Canada and around the Arctic, has become persona non grata in the eyes of the Polar Bear Specialist Group (PBSG) of the IPCC.

He reported that polar bears are thriving and that any Arctic warming is not due to rising CO2 levels but to ocean currents bringing warm water into the Arctic from the Pacific and winds blowing in from the Bering Sea. He has been told to stay away from the PBSG meeting because his views do not agree with the rest of the group.

Dr. Alan Carlin, Ph.D., of the EPA, has been muzzled because he questioned the IPCC's models and conclusions. In a series of directive e-mails from his supervisor he was told, in part, " do not have any direct communication with anyone outside of our office on [carbon] endangerment," and " the administration has decided to move forward on endangerment, and your comments do not help the legal or policy case for this decision."

And then we have the bizarre speech by a pathetic Al Gore at Oxford University. He said global warming was a threat to us like Adolph Hitler and the Nazis were to an uninformed German populace in their time.

Talk about fear mongering! Wake up, America and North Carolinians! Call Sens. Hagan and Burr, and tell them to vote no on cap-and-trade.
