Missing Carl Munro

Moore County public schools lost a friend and advocate on July 28. Carl Munro gave many hours of his time helping to improve education in Moore County. Several years ago he was appointed by the county commissioners to serve as chairman of the education advisory committee.

Carl brought his intelligent, thoughtful talents to the problems facing education at that time to help form a strategic planning committee. This committee was the basis for many improvements seen in the Moore County schools over the past few years.

We are indebted to him for his help. He will be missed by his many school friends.
