Juanita Frye McKenzie, 77, of West End, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at her home.

Mrs. McKenzie was born Sept. 22, 1931, in Moore County, to the late Charlie and Julie Williamson Frye. She was an avid camper and loved the beach.

Survivors include her husband, Garrett McKenzie, of West End; one son, Danny McKenzie and his wife, Macy, of Lexington, S.C.; one brother, Davis Frye and his wife, Laurie, of Pinehurst; one granddaughter, Lauren Hopler and her husband, Mark, of Pinebluff.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
