Charles N. McInnis, 97, of Aberdeen, (formerly of Fayetteville), died Friday, July 17, 2009, at Kingswood Nursing Center in Aberdeen.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 20, at Bethesda Cemetery in Aberdeen, with the Rev. David Hicks officiating.

Mr. McInnis is survived by his brother, Frank G. McInnis, of Charlotte, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Wicker McInnis; his son, Charles L. McInnis; his mother, Bertie Mae McInnis; father, William C. McInnis; brothers, John Curtis McInnis, of Aberdeen, who passed on Wednesday, July 15, 2009; Clarence McInnis, of Jackson Springs; Earl McInnis, of Florida; William (Bill) McInnis, of Columbia, S.C.; Ralph McInnis, of Aberdeen; sisters, Nellie Wright and Mary Christopher, of Aberdeen, and Clyda Pleasants, of Hamlet.
