Gail George, of GWG Wig Boutique in Pinehurst, has been granted a certificate for the highest degree of professionalism, technical creativity and concern for the "woman-in-need."
GWG Wig Boutique has recognized the "woman-in-need" consumer who has suffered hair loss for medical or nonmedical reasons and has become a fully trained professional retailer for this very sensitive client, according to a news release. George studied the latest techniques of customizing, fitting, and styling of hand-tied wigs that are designed for medical hair loss -- soft, comfortable bases that look and fell incredibly natural.
She attended the 2009 "Focus on the Future" educational training academy recently held in Charleston, S.C., for professionals and retailers, which set the highest standards for servicing the "woman-in-need" experiencing hair loss. George has successfully achieved the technical expertise required for certification.
The boutique is located at 210 McCaskill Road and can be reached at 603-1933.
