Career Fair: Trident Marketing Looking to Fill Positions

Trident Marketing, one of Moore County's top employers, will hold a career fair from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

A national marketer for products that include home entertainment, broadband services, home security and recreational travel, Trident is looking to fill 40 inside sales positions, along with opportunities in accounting, marketing, customer care and information technology.

Established in 1986, the original team laid the foundation for what has become a highly successful process of direct-response sales and marketing, allowing for the current growth today, the company said in a news release.

With more than 300 employees, Trident Marketing is utilizing its resources and experience to take the company to the next level, according to the release.

With the recent economic downturn, Trident has paid close attention to the opportunities and gaps that have become apparent in the vertical markets it services, allowing for a very bullish outlook in 2009, according to General Manager David Lord.

"We paid very close attention to our internal overhead, which has positioned us well for this long-anticipated expansion we are now able tosee come to fruition," Lord said. "We are excited to be able to add team members, at a time like this, on top of an anticipated 20 percent increase in overall sales for 2009."

Along with the expansion of its current home entertainment sales and marketing division, Trident has also recently signed a national marketing agreement with the No. 1 residential home security company in the United States, making it one of only six companies in the country to have such an agreement, according to the news release.

Prospective applicants can expect on-site interviews during the career fair for sales and customer care positions. They are asked to bring a detailed work history or a resum on the day of the event.

Applicants interested in accounting, information technology and marketing positions are asked to bring a resum so the company can schedule an interview with the respective department.
