Southern Pines police arrested a Pinebluff man in an armed robbery that occurred in an apartment on Nov. 21.

Trandon Shammar Thomas, 27, of Addor Road, was arrested Monday and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of assault by pointing a gun.

Thomas was arrested after an investigation by Southern Pines police into a robbery that happened in an apartment located on Dean Avenue in Southern Pines, according to a press release. Thomas was armed with a handgun, but there were no injuries or shots fired in the incident.

His bail was set at $30,000.
