S.P. Man Charged With Gun Theft

A Southern Pines resident has been charged with breaking into a Cameron residence and stealing a gun.
Tavares Anthony Harrington, 20, of 505 S. May Street, was arrested Jan. 2 by Moore County Sheriff's Department investigators, according to a press release.
He was charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny of a handgun.
His bail was set at $5,000.
