Stoneybrook presents "You Only Live Twice" Friday, April 3, a gala at the Country Club of North Carolina. The annual event benefits the Carolina Horse Park Foundation, and is held in conjunction with the steeplechase races Saturday, April 4, at the horse park off N.C. 211, near Raeford.

Billed as a "high stakes evening of glamour and dancing -- a night at Casino Royale, the theme of the evening is carried through with cocktails and a martini bar, a cold seafood bar ("Octopussy") smoked salmon and caviar ("From Russia With Love"), and an international dinner ("For Your Eyes Only").

The event begins at 7 p.m. and is open seating, with cocktail attire.

A silent auction will be held. Some of this year's items include a lesson in driving a race car; beauty treatment for a day, including lunch; a vacation in Beaver Creek, Colo.; a golfer's fitness program, complete with golf lesson with Donna Andrews; cooking lessons; and a special tour of the Metropolitan Museum in New York City.

This year's committee includes Betsy Best; Adair Beutel; Lucille Buck; Jackie Garris; Linda Lindsey; Kea Meachem; Billie Ann Peterson, Sandra Phillips; Margot Rawlings; Mary Schwab; Marcia Slane; Sarah Twilla; Danielle Veasy; Donna Verrilli, and Sassy Riley.

Tickets are $150 each.
