Alberta Brown Comadore, 82, of Springfield Gardens, N.Y., formerly of Eagle Springs, died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, in Springfield Gardens, N.Y.

While residing in Eagle Springs during her early years, Mrs. Comadore attended Zion Grove A.M.E. Zion Church. She lived most of her adult life in New York.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Simon Funeral Home Chapel, Southern Pines.

Burial: Zion Grove Community Cemetery, Eagle Springs.

Survivors: a daughter, Lisa Graham, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; brother, Bennie Brown, of Bronx, N.Y.; one granddaughter.
