Wachovia to Open New Branch Office

Wachovia will open a new branch office Monday in Olmsted Village in Pinehurst.

"Wachovia has very high standards when it comes to providing outstanding customer service," said Jodi Ohl, Wachovia's Olmsted Village store manager. "With this new store, we will continue to provide our customers with the superior products, service and advice they expect from being with Wachovia."

The financial center, which is at 110 Central Park Ave., has a staff of seven. It offers three drive-through lanes, drive-up commercial deposit service and a drive-through automatic teller machine. It will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

"As we bring Wachovia and Wells Fargo together, we will do so in a thoughtful manner that will build on our strengths in order to deliver the very best products and services to our customers," said Stuart Strickland, Wachovia's market president. "Our customers are at the forefront of every decision, and we are committed to keeping them informed well in advance of any changes. For now, customers should continue banking as usual and enjoy the added convenience of our new store location."

With the opening of the store in Olmsted Village, Wachovia will have three stores in Moore County.
