Deputies Arrest Four After Searching Home

A search of a Vass house Wednesday turned up crack cocaine, marijuana, moonshine, prescription pills and money, and resulted in the arrest of four individuals on various drug charges.

Members of the Moore County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit and special response team arrested Ronnie Jamel Hines, Tessa Marie Maynor, Fabian Imare Wilson and Lonnie Jermaine Hines after searching the house at 104 Laura's Court. Maynor and Ronnie Hines were listed as residents of the house.

Deputies found 115 units of crack cocaine, 102 grams of marijuana, 44 Xanax pills, two Darvocet pills, a quart of non-tax paid liquor, $1,037 in cash, a handgun and drug paraphernalia, according to a news release. The estimated street value of the drugs seized was $3,820.

Ronnie Jamel Hines, 25, was charged with felony possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver, felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of a firearm by felon, felony possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with intent to sell or deliver, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of non-tax paid liquor. His bail was set at $100,000.

Maynor, 24, was charged with felony possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with intent to sell or deliver, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, felony possession of marijuana, felony possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of non-tax paid liquor. Her bail was set at $10,000.

Wilson, 23, of 1145 West Connecticut Ave., was arrested on warrants filed by the Moore County Sheriff's Office, the Southern Pines Police Department, the Aberdeen Police Department and the N.C. Department of Corrections. Charges against Wilson resulting from an undercover investigation conducted by the Moore County Sheriff's Office in 2008 include two counts of felony possession of cocaine with intent to sell or deliver, two counts of felony sale of cocaine and two counts of felony deliver cocaine.

He also was charged with misdemeanor assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting a public officer as a result of the Wednesday search. His bail was set at $110,000.

Lonnie Hines, 20, of 709 Harris St. in Aberdeen, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

He received a $10,000 unsecured bond and was released.
