There was "glee" in the Garden last night.

The audience erupted in cheers as CH Clussexx Three D Grinchy Glee, more familiarly known as Stump, was chosen as Best in Show at the 133rd annual Westminster Dog Show at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

The 10-year-old Sussex spaniel, handled by co-owner Scott Sommer, from Texas, competed with six other dogs for the title.

Stump is co-owned by Moore County residents Beth and Carol Dowd.
