Elizabeth Wallace Harvey, 84, of Pinehurst, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Born Feb. 13, 1924, in Moore County to the late Archie Wallace and Mary Shaw Wallace, she was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Pinehurst, with Chaplain Michelle Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Southern Pines.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Keith L. Harvey of Pinehurst; three daughters, Linda Rose, of Pompano Beach, Fla., Flora Childress and husband, Mike, of Cameron, and Teri Harvey, of Vass; eight grandchildren, Eddie Delk, Wendi Mundi, Jason Childress, Michelle Rose, Valerie Rose, Kayla Rose, John Hipp, and Joanna Hipp. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Harvey, and her brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst.
