A Sanford man faces several charges after he was arrested for breaking into a residence near Southern Pines.

Brian Arthur Davis, 42, of 83 Flowtown Road, Sanford, was charged by the Moore County Sheriff's Department with breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen goods and obtaining property by false pretense on Thursday, according to a press release.

The break-in occurred on Jan. 11.

His bail was set at $20,000.
