Valentine's Day Concert, Saturday, Feb. 14, 7:30 p.m., Owens Auditorium, Sandhills Community College. The concert will feature the Sandhills Community College Jazz Band, directed by Tim Haley, and the Sandhills Community College Choir, directed by Frances Wilson. Along with a variety of love songs and big band standards, the choir will perform Civil War era songs as part of the Abraham Lincoln 200th Birthday Celebration that is taking place throughout the month of February at the college. Weymouth Young Musicians Festival announced by the Music Committee for the Weymouth Center for the Arts and Humanities Center will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 21-22. Auditions will be held on Saturday, March 21, and the Finalists' Concert will be held Sunday,March 22, at 3 p.m. Both events take place in the Great Room at Weymouth Center.
