Dale Frye is the new chairman for the Moore County School Board.
Frye was selected chairman by acclamation at tonight's regular meeting of the board. Pamela Thompson was selected vice-chairman, also by acclamation of her fellow board members.
Frye, who has been vice-chair for the last two years, succeeds Kathy Farren. He was nominated by board member Lorna Clack, while Thompson was nominated by Sue Black.
