Police Briefs: Candor Men Charged in Thefts of Four-Wheelers

Two Candor men were arrested Nov. 23 and charged in the theft of several four-wheelers from the Jackson Springs community.
Timothy Ray Beaver, 24, of 331 Morgan Road, and Reggie Keith Ingram, 31, of 219 Stutts Drive, were arrested by Moore County sheriff's deputies and charged with one count of felony larceny and one count of felony possession of stolen goods, according to a press release.
The next day, Beaver was charged with an additional count of felony larceny and a count of felony possession of stolen goods, according to the release.
Beaver was jailed, with bail set at $5,000. Ingram was jailed, with his bail set at $2,500.
Beaver was also wanted by the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office for outstanding warrants for theft.
The arrests stemmed from October reports of two four-wheelers being stolen from two residences in Jackson Springs, according to the release.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office assisted in the investigation and the recovery of the four-wheelers
Dog Theft: A Sanford woman was arrested Nov. 24 for allegedly taking a dog from the yard of a residence near Vass.
Jamie Marie Jackson, 26, of 412 Douglas Farm Road, was arrested by Moore County sheriff's deputies and charged with felony larceny of a dog and felony possession of stolen goods, according to a press release. She was jailed, with bail set at $5,000.
The arrest stemmed from a report on Monday to the sheriff's office that a cocker spaniel puppy had been taken from the yard of a house located on Pearl Lane, according to the release.
