Pinecrest lost to Fuquay-Varina 5-0 Monday in a non-conference boys' soccer game played at Fuquay-Varina.
Pinecrest is now 1-2 on the season. The Patriot jayvee team is 1-0-1 after playing to a 0-0 tie against Fuquay-Varina in the earlier match.
The Patriots are scheduled to play at Lee County tonight.
