Three Join Weichert, Realtors-Larose & Co.

Broker Scarlett M. Allison has joined the sales team of HSP Realty Group at Weichert, Realtors-Larose & Co.

The five-year residential sales specialist serves Moore County, with an emphasis on Pinehurst and Southern Pines. She is a member of the Pinehurst/ Southern Pines Areas Associa-tion of Realtors, the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council and the Seller Represen-tative Specialist Council, and she has earned the designations of Accredited Buyer's Representative and Seller Representation Specialist.

I share a passion for real estate with my clients, and my purpose as a Realtor is to understand their needs and to protect their financial interests," she said.

A Greensboro native and current Pinehurst resident, Allison has a master's degree in speech and language pathology/special education and a doctorate in education administration. Prior to entering the real estate field, she was director of programs for exceptional children in Montgomery County, assistant director of a statewide collaborative training program for early childhood professionals and was in private practice in speech and language pathology, also consulting with area public schools.

Lewis T. Ferguson, a five year real estate professional, has also joined Weichert, Realtors-Larose & Co. He specializes in residential sales, relocation and golf-related properties with memberships to various clubs.

A member of the Pinehurst/ Southern Pines Association of Realtors, he serves clients in Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Seven Lakes, Foxfire and surrounding areas. He has earned the Accredited Buyers Represent-ation designation.

Born in Taylorsville, Ferguson is a 27-year Pinehurst resident. He is active in the community as a member of the Culdee Presbyterian Church in Eastwood and the Southern Pines Elks Lodge No. 1692. He is a former golf committee chair, as well as the current tournament chair for Elks National events.

Ferguson earned a bachelor's degree in recreation administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to real estate, he worked in golf and resort operations. He is a member of the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) of America.

Gary Tanner, who joined the Pinehurst-Southern Pines agency just one year ago, has successfully completed all necessary courses and earned his North Carolina broker's license. He serves the residential needs of clients in the area as a member of the Pinehurst-Southern Pines Area Association of Realtors. In addition to his real estate licenses, he is certified in home inspection.

He is a native of Ohio and an 11-year resident of Pinehurst. He attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and the University of Dayton, where he majored in education and business.
