The latest course covered leadership in communication, held at the Institute June 21 23, and attended by Drs. David Kuhn, Mandy Kuhn Grimshaw and Ritt Kuhn.

Training focused largely on enhancing the communication skills of the doctors, who ultimately set the tone for how the entire team interacts with patients.

"While clear, concise verbal interaction was covered, good listening skills and providing feedback to patients is a vital component of good doctor/patient relationships," Grimshaw said. "We were able to return to the practice and help our team follow the protocols of positive communications with all patients, regardless of the nature of their visit. Through this, we feel our patients are better participants in treatment decisions and maintain their oral health on a much higher level."
