The Linden Garden Club of Pinewild held its year-ending meeting, a potluck luncheon at the Weymouth Center Thursday, June 18.

All the current officers and committees were recognized for their contributions to the educational and informative year. Special thanks were given to luncheon hostesses: Ann Arnold, Barbara Graning, Carol Jones, Adele Prill and co-hostesses: Linda Bradley, Carol Matuza, Kathryn Talton and Barbara Venditti.

President Jeanne Leone conducted a brief business meeting to install the newly elected officers, Kathryn Talton, president; and Barbara Newton, secretary.

Returning officers are Jane Waldemar, vice president and Nona Burrell, treasurer. The members were reminded that the 2009-2010 year will begin with a Sept. 17 meeting and luncheon at Pinewild Country Club.
