Sport Horse Versatility Brings Fun, Education and Competition

There will be a Sport Horse Versatility (SHV) obstacle I/II clinic and a SHV and Dressage competition Aug. 29-30 at Loch Hurst Farm, 2560 Lake Bay Road in Vass.
The Saturday SHV Obstacle I and II Clinic will give participants experience on working through a variety of obstacles. The Obstacle I clinic will start in-hand and move to under saddle. The Obstacle II session will focus on accuracy and refinement in working obstacles to improve participants' skills and those of their horses using SHV competitive standards as the benchmark. Riders will learn more about competing in SHV from judging criteria to show strategies. The prerequisite for Obstacle II is the completion of Obstacle I. The fee is $90.00 for a two-hour group session.
Sunday test your skills in a friendly SHV and Dressage competition. A potpourri of competition is scheduled: Ride a Dressage test of choice for $25.00 per test. SHV Two-Phase includes dressage test (test of choice) and obstacle course for $50. SHV Suitability includes under saddle class and obstacle course for $50.SHV Obstacle Phase (under saddle) for $25. SHV In-Hand Obstacle Phase (unmounted) for $25. Sunday classes are open to all riders and clinic participants.
