Two Arrested in Carolina Lakes Shooting

Two Carthage men were arrested by Moore County Sheriff deputies Tuesday for a shooting in the Carolina Lakes subdivision that left a teenage girl with minor injuries.
Issac Jerome Barrett, 20, and Jermaine Octavius Kelly, 28, both of 438 Heron Road are alleged to have fired at several shots into a vehicle occupied by Woolynne Carstarthen, Jennifer Robinson and Danielle Cameron, according to a release.
Both men were charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, one count assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injuries and three counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
The release did not identify the wounded girl. The shooting occurred around 10 a.m. in the morning in the subdivision located near Carthage.
Barrett's bail was set at $150,000, while Kelly's bail was set at $25,000.
