It seems our country has taken a path that is scary, dangerous and un-American. We have only to look at our leaders to see why we are on this destructive path.

For example, the president said in Turkey that "one of the great strengths" of the United States is that it does not consider itself a "Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation" but rather "a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values."

I did not vote for Obama, and I sure wish he would not claim to know what my values are based on or call me a non-Christian! Where does he think he gets the right to say that about this great nation, a nation that was formed on Christian ideals and beliefs? Just because he is not a Christian doesn't give him the right to call this country non-Christian!

One can see where Obama's beliefs lie. He treated the queen of England like trash but managed to bow, that's right, bow to a Muslim king at the G-20 summit!

And now our Homeland Security chief is calling veterans, conservatives and anyone or any group that does not agree with the socialistic plan of the president and Rep. Nancy Pelosi and other far-left Democrats in Congress "extremist" threats to our country!

NBC's Tom Brokaw once called the veterans of World War II the "greatest generation." I guess all those vets now are just "threats" to our country. Never mind that they saved this nation just so stupid people can call them "extremists."

It seems to me that there is something dreadfully wrong with this picture.
