A Vass woman has been charged with identity theft, according to a release from the Moore County Sheriff's Office.

Hattie Rogers, 60, of 140 Lincoln Avenue, was arrested Monday, involving a case from Nov. 11, 2008, when the sheriff's department had received a report of fraud from a man who lives in the Carthage area.

Rogers was charged with identity theft, and released on a written promise to appear in court.
