Beulah Kennedy Maness, 87, of Robbins, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 24, at High Falls Friends Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Robert Kidd and the Rev. Ben Hurley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Maness was a Moore County native, and a former pianist and choir member at her church. She was a devoted wife and a good mother. Mrs. Maness was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Racy Maness; two sons, Lester Maness and Roy Lee Maness, and two grandsons, Billy and Kenny Surrancy.
Survivors include daughters, Helen Morgan and Lucy Ritter, both of Robbins, Hilda Maness, of Bennett; sons, Billy John Maness, of Robbins, and Racy Jr., of the home; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Joyce-Brady chapel in Bennett from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and other times at the residence, 327 North Moore Road.
