Danny Lemont Bowden, 55, of Aberdeen, died Sunday, April 19, 2009, at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.

Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday at Crusade for Christ Deliverance Center, Southern Pines, with Chief Apostle Hoover Benymon officiating. Burial follows in Berkley Cemetery. There will be a viewing one hour at the center prior to the service.

Surviving are his mother, Christine Bowden, of Aberdeen; sons, Darris Bowden (Pam), of Fayetteville, and Shawn Bowden, of Carthage; three brothers, Larry, of Aberdeen, Samuel, of Miami, Fla., and Roy (Linda), of Southern Pines; sisters, Josephine, of Aberdeen, Ruby, of Southern Pines, Linda, of Raeford, and Cheryl (Michael), of Raleigh; three grandchildren.

Pugh and Smith Funeral Home, in Carthage, is serving the family.
