We recently returned home in late afternoon to find a good part of the staff and vehicles of Moore County Public Utilities' water department all up and down both sides of our street and around our yard and driveway. There had been a major water main break, which considerably damaged our yard and our neighbor's.

We want to thank the department and their fine crew for the major effort to restore service and repair the extensive damage to our yard and landscaping. They returned twice to complete repairs and reconstruction, rebuilding the creek bed and banks and restoring our garden.

We are extremely appreciative of the kind and caring attention to this matter. Our sincere thanks to all who were a part of this effort!
