Shirley Graham Anthony, 73, of Garner, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009.

She was the daughter of the late H. Carson and Nepsia Graham. Mrs. Anthony was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Anthony; son, Tony Anthony, and brother, Gerald Graham.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 14, at 11 a.m. at McLaurin Funeral Home chapel. Interment followed at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Anthony and wife, Brenda, of Mebane, and Allen Anthony, of Garner; sisters, Betty Martin, of Pinehurst, and Helen Hall, of St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Amber Anthony, of Clayton, Christine Anthony and John Anthony, both of Garner; niece, Pam Martin, and husband, Bob Hancock, of Seven Lakes; daughter-in-law, Lisa Anthony, of Clayton; niece, Sally Schubert and husband, George, of St. Louis, Mo., nephew, Tom Hall and wife, Becky, of Roswell, Ga.
