Leroy McFadgen, 70, of the Jackson Hamlet community, Pinehurst, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009.

Mr. McFadgen resided in Atlantic City, N.J., for many years. He returned to North Carolina upon his retirement from Caesar's Casino in Atlantic City.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 16, at 4 p.m., St Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Jackson Hamlet.

Surviving are sons, Michael, Brian, Roy, and Leland; daughters, Deanna, Theresa, Cotina, and Tina; stepdaughter, Darlene; sister, Mildred; 19 grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

The family is being served by Simon Funeral Home of Southern Pines.
